DAY 1: Arrive in Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City

Your fantastic holiday begins in bustling Ho Chi Minh City. You will be picked up at the airport by a tour representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day you are free to enjoy at your own leisure.

DAY 2: Ho Chi Minh City ~ Mekong Delta Tour

You will be picked up from your hotel at 8:00am and sit back with a relaxing 2-hour drive to My Tho, passing through lush scenery and green rice paddy fields. On arrival at My Tho, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, and have lunch in the orchard garden. Then take a boat ride to An Khanh, which is a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre. Enjoy cruising under the shadow of the coconut trees along the canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Don ca Tai Tu” (Southern Vietnamese folk music), performed by local people. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. In the afternoon return to Ho Chi Minh City and spend the evening at your leisure.

DAY 3: Ho Chi Minh City ~ Cu Chi Tunnels ~ Danang ~ Hoi An

You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels.. These tunnels are stretched over 200 km and were very important to the Viet Cong during the American War. This underground network, dug by hand, connected; command posts, hospitals, shelters and weapon factories. After the tunnels, transfer back to Saigon for a short flight to Da nang. Upon arrival in Da Nang, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel in Hoi An for the night. The evening is free at your own leisure to take a nice evening stroll along the riverside and find a delicious restaurant for dinner

DAY 4: Hoi An bike tour ~ Cooking Class 

In the morning, start the tour by cycling to Tra Que Vegetable Village. Here, you will enjoy glasses of E (seeds from mint) herbal tea, whilst listening to the history of the foundation and development of the vegetable village. After, the local farmers will take you to see several kinds of vegetables and fennel, whilst sharing the processes of planting and looking after the crops. You will then practice vegetable farming with hoeing soil, planting, watering and harvesting vegetables. You will then proceed back to the local farmer’s house and your legs will be soaked and massaged in warm basins with medicinal herbs for treatment of rheumatism and muscle pain. A perfect relaxant. Next, you will be taught how to cook specialties of the village by skilled and professional cooks. Lunch will follow and you will then enjoy the afternoon in Hoi An at your leisure.

DAY 5: Hoi An ~ Hanoi

Enjoy the day free at leisure until you are transferred to the airport for your domestic flight to Hanoi. On arrival in Hanoi, you will be transferred to your hotel. You are free at your own leisure to enjoy the sights of this exciting city, or just relax in your hotel,

DAY 6: Ha Noi ~ Ha Long Bay 

Pickup at 8:00am to journey through lush Vietnamese countryside to stunning Halong Bay, scattered with hundreds of limestone islets as far as the eye can see.  Once on board our traditional junk boat, we tuck in to a delicious seafood lunch while we cruise the emerald waters. In the afternoon we will stop for some water based activities such as swimming, kayaking or taking a rowing boat into smaller islets looking for the local cheeky monkeys that live on the rocks. In the evening you can try your hand at some squid fishing, star gazing or making new friends over some nice cold beers.  Spend the night onboard in your comfortable cabin and enjoy the peacefulness of the Bay.

DAY 7: Ha Long Bay ~ Hanoi

This morning we continue to sail through the majestic landscape of Halong Bay. Then we enjoy another buffet lunch on board as we sail back to the harbour. Drive back to Hanoi. Have the evening free at your leisure in Hanoi. We suggest you visit the Old Town and markets, enjoy some street food and soak up the exciting culture of the Vietnamese capital city.

DAY 8: Ha Noi ~ Luang Prabang

Free at own leisure to explore Hanoi city. You will then be transferred to the airport to take the internal flight to Luang Prabang - Laos. The evening is free at your own leisure


Welcome to Laos, our tour guide and driver will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel.

DAY 9: Luang Prabang ~ Temples ~ Mekong river cruise ~  Pakou Caves 

You have the option to start the day early and participate in the daily rituals to saffron clad monks. This tradition is unique to Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the tradition. 


After breakfast, you will visit the city's oldest temple, Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong where you can see the impressive “tree of life” mosaic set in colored glass. You will then board an upstream cruise on the Mekong River, which gives a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside. You will stop at the Pak Ou Caves which are repositories for thousands of Buddha images. You will also stop at a few villages during the day, including Ban Muangkeo where the local rice wine is produced.

Once back to the city, you will climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a panoramic view of the city at sunset. From there, you will explore the Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles.

DAY 10: Luang Prabang ~ Kuangsi Waterfalls 

After breakfast,you will visit The National Museum at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of artifacts reflecting the richness of Laos culture throughout the ages. You will then follow to visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrines of Wat Aham and Wat Mai. You will also have a short visit to Wat Phonphao, which is on top of a small hill and provides a great view of the city. You then continue to the beautiful Kuangsi Waterfalls where you can swim in the turquoise pools or walk along forest paths. Return to the city by late evening to observe the sunset at Wat Phabath.

DAY 11: Luang Prabang ~ Siem Reap

After breakfast, you are free to explore at your own leisure. After, you will check out and be transferred to the airport for a flight to Siem Reap. Welcome to Cambodia! Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY 12: Angkor Wat Tour

Breakfast at hotel and then pick up at 8:00am for a full day tour of Angkor Wat; meaning "City of Temples". Visit south gate of Angkor Thom with two rows of its huge statues of demons and gods depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, Bayon Temple, a forest of giant heads built in the late 12th century by King Jayarvarman VI as a Buddhist temple. You also visit the Terrace of Elephant and Terrace of Leper King as well as Ta Prohm; the famous temple with trees growing out of the ruins in its jungle surroundings, and the setting for the film Tomb Raider. After lunch we visit the breathtaking Angkor Wat, famous for its beauty and splendor and the largest of all the temples, a World Heritage Site since 1992. If time and energy permits we will also visit some nearby temples. Return back to Siem Reap for the evening free at leisure. Take a stroll down "Pub Street" to eat at the many restaurants and enjoy a relaxing beer.

DAY 13: Tonle Sap Tour

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel afor the Tonlé Sap. Enjoy a boat ride on the Lake. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonlé Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We sail to a fishermen's "Floating Village", complete with a floating school and floating police station. The villages moves from place to place following water levels and current. You are then driven to the Pouk district where you will visit the silk farm, a fascinating farm/workshop where you can see the entire silk creation process including growing of food for the silk worms, breeding the worms, silk extraction and refinement, traditional dying pattern creation and looming. 

You are then free to enjoy your last afternoon in Cambodia at your own leisure.

DAY 14: End of Tour 

Your holiday has unfortunately come to an end. You will be transferred to Siem Reap International airport in time for your onward flight.
