DAY 1: Arrive Delhi [25 March 2021]

Your holiday to Incredible India begins with an airport pick up at Delhi International Airport. Be prepared for a culture shock of sights, sounds and smells as you are transferred through this bustling city to your hotel. After check in, the rest of the day is free at leisure.

DAY 2: Delhi Free Day 

Free day in Delhi to explore this vibrant city at your own pace. Some highlights include the historic Red Fort, Jama Masjid India's largest mosque, Chandni Chowk area and Raj Ghat- memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. These are just a few suggestions, your tour guide can help you with handy tips on where to go and what to do.

DAY 3: Delhi ~ Agra 

Today you will visit one of the 7 wonders of the world; the Taj Mahal, a highlight of any holiday to India!  After breakfast we leave Delhi behind for a 4 hour drive to Agra. On arrival you will check-in and freshen up before a visit to the impressive Agra Fort, built by three Mughal Emperors starting from Akbar the Great. In the evening you will visit Taj Mahal during sunset, a perfect time of day to experience this incredible monument and all it's majesty. Take your time to wonder around the grounds, exploring all sides of the Taj and soak up the atmosphere as the warm hazy sun sets.

DAY 4: Agra ~ Fatehpur Sikri ~ Jaipur 

Today we have a long drive (5 hours) to Jaipur, the Pink City. Just outside of Agra we stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri, a town built in the 17th Century by Emperor Akbar with Red Sand Stone but immediately abandoned after 15 years of occupancy due to water shortage and political issues.  

Continue your drive to Jaipur.  Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and famous for Palaces and bazaars of textiles, pottery, jewelleries and folk based arts & handicrafts ~ a paradise for shoppers. Spending the afternoon wondering around the bazaars, haggling for the lowest prices and mingling with the locals is the best way to see Jaipur!

DAY 5: Jaipur ~ Holi Festival Celebration 

Today morning enjoy the colorful festival of Holi. You will be taken to a place where the Holi celebration is booked for you. 

Details of Holi Celebration: 

Come join us again this year, in this fun filled exhilarating celebration and be part of an ancient tradition. We welcome you to a noble’s house in the erstwhile state of Jaipur and take you through a journey filled with live music, dance, drinks and mouthwatering delicacies. Let’s smear colurs and splash water on each other, this Holi, with pichkaries (water guns) and water balloons in the company of the host, his friends and family. Enjoy the interesting traditions and customs of Holi that have their own regional variances and may be you could learn how to prepare some local sweets with the lady of the house too.

Venue: Poolside Garden “Narain Niwas” 4 Star Palace Hotel, Jaipur

Time: 1030 hrs – 1330 hrs

DAY 6: Jaipur Free Day 

Spend a full day in the 'Pink City' at your leisure, explore the many streets and markets, great for shopping and buying souvenirs, or take our optional city tour and visit to the Amber Fort.  The Amber Fort and palace complex is built with stunning white marble and yellow and pink sandstone.  Inside the palace visit the Jag Mandir (The Hall of Victory), Sheesh Mahal – a room with four walls and the ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirrors, imported from Belgium. The City Palace is the royal residence. Now part of this residence is converted into museum and a part of the portion is still now occupied by the royal family of Jaipur. An impressive array of pistols, blunderbusses, swords, rifles and daggers are found in the Armory museum.

DAY 7: Jaipur ~ Delhi 

After a relaxed breakfast we drive back to Delhi. Once back in Delhi the afternoon is free at leisure to relax or do some last minute shopping.

DAY 8: End of Tour ~ Departure
