DAY 2: Hanoi ~ Halong Bay
Early morning pickup at 8:00am to journey through lush Vietnamese countryside to Halong Bay. On arrival we board the traditional junk boat for a memorable cruise among the hundreds of limestone islets of Halong Bay. During the cruise we stop at the ‘Magnificent Cave’ full of stalagmites and stalactites. Tuck in to a yummy seafood lunch and some water based activities such as swimming or kayaking. Spend the night onboard in your comfortable cabin and enjoy the peacefulness of the Bay.

DAY 3: Halong Bay ~ Hanoi
This morning we continue to sail through the majestic landscape of Halong Bay before heading back to shore and continuing back to Hanoi after a buffet lunch. Have the evening free at your leisure in Hanoi, suggest you visit the Old Town and markets to soak up the exciting culture of the Vietnamese capital city.

DAY 4: Hanoi ~ Hoi An
Spend the morning free at leisure before transferring to the airport for a short flight to Danang. Once in Danang you will be transferred to Hoi An (30 minute drive) and check in to your hotel. The evening in Hoi An is at your own leisure. Check out the amazing shopping and get some tailored clothing, have a delicious meal in one of the many restaurants and wonder along the river lit up with hundreds of lanterns at night.

You will be picked up at 7:45am by modern tourist coach and travel through the countryside, stopping for a border crossing and continuing on to Phnom Penh. The trip takes around 6 hours so prepare yourself with a good book, snacks and a charged up phone! On arrival into Phnom Penh you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel.

Another day to catch up on your reading as we travel onwards to Siem Reap by modern tourist coach. Pick up at 7:30am and journey 5 hours through three provinces; Kandal, Kampung Cham and KomPung Thom. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. A late lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

DAY 12: Siem Reap ~ Angkor Wat Temple Tour
Breakfast at hotel and then pick up at 8:00am for a full day tour of Angkor Wat; meaning “City of Temples”. Visit south gate of Angkor Thom with two rows of its huge statues of demons and gods depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, Bayon Temple, a forest of giant heads built in the late 12th century by King Jayarvarman VI as a Buddhist temple. You also visit the Terrace of Elephant and Terrace of Leper King as well as Ta Prohm; the famous temple with trees growing out of the ruins in its jungle surroundings, and the setting for the film Tomb Raider. After lunch we visit the breathtaking Angkor Wat, famous for its beauty and splendor and the largest of all the temples, a World Heritage Site since 1992. If time and energy permits we will also visit some nearby temples. Return back to Siem Reap for the evening free at leisure. Take a stroll down “Pub Street” to eat at the many restaurants and enjoy a relaxing beer.
