WHAT TYPE OF TRANSPORT IS USED?

Private air-conditioned transport is used throughout the tour. Depending on the group size, travel is by Toyota Prado TX 4×4 or deluxe van.

 

WHAT IS THE SAHARA DESERT CAMP LIKE?

The tour includes one night at a luxury camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga. The desert camp includes private toilet and shower facilities, with luggage transported to the camp.

 

WHAT DESERT EXPERIENCES ARE INCLUDED?

A guided camel ride of approximately one hour is included in Merzouga. The tour also includes sandboarding, a 4×4 excursion around the dunes and traditional Berber music at the camp.

 

HOW MUCH LUGGAGE CAN I BRING?

A specific luggage allowance has not been advised by the local operator. Luggage transport to the desert camp and accommodation is included. We recommend travelling with manageable luggage due to the varied accommodation and touring conditions.

 

HOW DIFFICULT IS THE WALKING?

The itinerary includes walking through medinas, historic sites, gorges, kasbahs and natural areas. Guests should be comfortable with uneven surfaces, steps, narrow streets and periods of walking during sightseeing.

Child discounts are only applicable if travelling with two full paying adults.

AMENDMENTS:

Any amendments are subject to the supplier’s terms and conditions.

Any changes will incur a $100 per person amendment fee PLUS any additional fees applied by the supplier.

All changes must be requested in writing.
